Day-by-day breakdown of your incredible journey
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
6:00 AM SGR train from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro (2 hours), followed by a 1:45-hour drive to Mikumi in a 4x4 safari car. Check in at Camp Bastian for lunch, followed by a visit to a Maasai village in the evening.
Day 2: Trip to Udzungwa Mountains
Travel to Udzungwa Mountains National Park after breakfast. Climb the Sanje route to the top of the mountain to view the four-stage waterfalls. Return to Mikumi for an evening game drive and overnight stay at Mikumi Bandas.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return
6:00 AM game drive with a breakfast box until 10:00 AM. Return to Morogoro for lunch, then catch the 3:00 PM SGR train back to Dar es Salaam.
